Stump Grinding

Stump Grinding

After a tree is taken down, the remaining stump can be an eyesore and a nuisance. The stump looks lifeless and like it will rot away, but it is actually a live organism. The natural decay and decomposition of a stump can take a long time, sometimes months or even years. Even if the tree is dead, it may try to produce new shoots. The process can be sped up by cutting into the stump and planting it in compost or soil, but problems may still arise. The grinder is driven across the grass to the stump, which could be near a building, a garden, or a fence. The grass on the lawn can get mowed down if you do this. The operator will then use a stump grinder to remove the unwanted tree stump from the ground, along with a 6-inch diameter hole. That is accomplished by bringing the big vertical blade up and over the top of the stump. When finished, the stump will be a gaping chasm. Stumps are ground down and left in the pit, where they disperse. Cleaning services are available with prior arrangement and payment. In any location, this stump grinder will make short work of any stubborn tree roots. If you have a lot of tree stumps to get rid of, stump grinding might not be your best bet. Then we can use the excavator or tractor to get rid of them. Such a strategy would be used for clearing a lot or enlarging a yard. Any number of stumps can be removed quickly and affordably by us. After the lawn has been levelled, you can start laying down soil and grass seed to construct your ideal outdoor space.

In addition to tree trimming and removal, we offer a wide variety of other tree services to both residential and commercial clients.
